On Sunday, October 25th with a team of friends I ran in the Washington Marine Corps Marathon to raise money for Merlin, Medical Emergency Relief International USA. Ten of us ran the 10k (including myself), 4 ran the full marathon.The atmosphere was fantastic with the marines cheering us on and giving High 5's along the way! 

Merlin specializes in health, saving lives in times of crisis and helping to rebuild shattered health care systems in some of the most dangerous places in the world. Merlin currently have medical teams in action in parts of Africa, Asia and the Middle East, providing help to those in desperate need who have been affected by natural disasters, conflict and disease.

Even a small donation can make a BIG difference and save lives.

$2 can vaccinate a child against measles

$20 can pay for 2,000 chlorine tablets for safe drinking water

$150 will feed 5 malnourished children for a month
