Next Sunday, I will walk along with my sisters, family and friends in the Huntington's Disease Walk for Hope. My brother-in-law Richard, has been living with Huntington's Disease for the past five years. This disease is a neurodegenerative genetic disorder that affects muscle coordination and leads to cognitive decline and dementia. Richard remains easy-going and sunny, but is no longer able to work. 

The Huntington's Disease Society fundraises for advancing research to find a cure and to provide support to families  facing life with HD. The support group has been especially helpful to my sister Carol, as her family meets the daily challenges and changing needs of a loved one with HD.  

A donation of any amount  would be greatly appreciated. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts.  I hope the steps we take together can make a difference.
