Janice Clark's Fundraising Page
Hello Friends and Family,
Thank you for joining me in the 8th Annual Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma Walk and Fundraising event. Your prayers, good wishes and contributions all continue to make a difference in the lives of those coping with this disease.
Funding furthers the foundation’s three-fold mission of Support, Education and Research. All of which help to diagnose and treat symptoms earlier, and ultimately, will lead to a cure!
Whether it's by joining me for the walk, sending your love and prayers for us and/or making a monetary contribution, I truly appreciate and feel blessed by your support. If you are in a position to donate this year, please know that no amount is too small … collectively, it all makes a difference!
I'd love to see you at the walk: Sunday, June 6th at La Mirada Regional Park (8:00am to 2:00pm) - there will be live music, raffles, carnival games & Kidzone, lunch and a Resource Fair for patients and their families. Cost (includes lunch and t-shirt) is $20 for adults, $5 for kids 6-12, free for kids under 6. Please register early as cost will be $25 the day of the walk.
Warmest regards,
Jan
Scleroderma is a chronic, auto-immune disease for which there is no cure; the cause is still unknown. Symptoms vary from mild to life threatening and can be in the form of stiff and deformed hands, gastrointestinal and/or lung involvement, to extreme fatigue and chronic pain. Note: Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts.
