My name is Penney and welcome to my fundraising page.  I am trying to help the Humane Society of Bexar County raise money in their efforts to help orphaned pets.

I have a sad story of my own to tell. I was found on a cold New Years Day by my human Dad George. I had been hit by a car and was nearly run over again right in front of George's eyes!  He scooped me up off of the road and tried to find my owner, but no one came forward to claim me.  So with the help of my new family and some great veterinarians I healed from my wounds. I had suffered a broken leg and broken jaw, which had to be wired closed. I lost some teeth in the ordeal but I think it gives me a quirky smile! 

To be crowned El Rey Fido would be a great thrill and show the world how far I have come! Plus the best part is helping other dogs and cats find forever homes.
