TEAM GOAL: Raise $2,600.20 (or more) for Melanoma Research in honor of the strongest survivor we know- Jamie Trembicki!

Our Reason for Running

Jamie Trembicki was never a beach goer, never went tanning, but also never thought he would be the one to develop Melanoma. Jamie is the most light-hearted, fun fellows to be around. If you ask any of his friends or family, Jamie will always be the one to lend a helping hand, but also be the first to crack a joke. When we found out that Jamie was diagnosed with Melanoma, everyone was shocked. All of his friends and family at first did not know how to handle it all. There were constant ups and downs during his entire battle. However, with the strength  and kindness of family and friends, Jamie battled through 2 massive surgeries and beat the battle of Melanoma.  We can all happily say that Jamie has been cancer free for a year now :)!

Although Jamie can list himself as a survivor, we know that there are many lives that have been taken by this awful sickness. We want to run for everyone; the survivors, the lost and those still battling. The 6 of us will combine our love for running, with our love for Jamie and everyone else who has been affected by Melanoma in any way. All money donated will go directly to the Miles for Melanoma foundation in honor of Jamie.

The Donation

We are going to work the donation based on the miles we run.

A full mile is $100.00, a 1/2 of a mile is $50.00, a 1/4 of a mile is $25.00 

So, lets go people- donate those miles!! Plus, us 6 are the ones running them, you just have to donate, sit back, relax and watch us run :)!! Please donate as many miles as you can!!

$100 x 26.2 Miles = $2620.20 (Or more- hopefully that is the minimum)
