Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for Basset Buddies Rescue, Inc.!

Hi, my name is Caoimhe (it's pronounced Keeva - my mama likes Irish names) and it's my goal to help raise money for Basset Fest 2009.  My mama found me (or I found her) wandering the streets in the town where she works.  Someone had dumpted me off because they didn't want me any more.  It was the middle of a very cold winter and I probably wouldn't have lasted very long if she hadn't taken me home, it's Minnesota here after all.  Let me tell you, I'm living the good life now.  I am so greatful for everything my mama has done for me that I even let her dress me up in girly dresses and frilly hats.

My mama belongs to a group that help hounds like me, who were once homeless, to find good, loving, safe furever homes.  There are lots of homeless hounds out there who really need my help.  Basset Buddies takes them in, takes them to the doctor, and puts them in wonderful foster homes where they can learn the ropes of living in a home with a family.  For some of the homeless hounds it's the first time in their lives they've ever been safe and loved or even had enough to eat every day. 

Please help me help my mama help the homeless hounds in Basset Buddies.  I know things are tough right now but any little amount will make a difference to a sad hound somewhere.  Me and my mama both greatly appreciate your taking time to read my page and consider helping us find homes for loving Basset Hounds.  And the hound you help will be forever greatfull.  Sad eyed drool to all of you out there who care enough to make a difference!
