Meet Jasmine and Lucie. These two sisters were only 2 months old when we rescued them from a high kill Los Angeles Shelter the day they were to be euthanized. Both girls spent most of their time in isolation because they were too sick to be out with the rest of the pups. They both had very high fevers, kennel cough, Demodex Mange and Lucie also had pneumonia. Needless to say, they were both in need of immediate medical care but were left in isolation and for the lack of a better word, forgotten.
Karma Rescue pulled both girls and immediately took them to the vet where they stayed for over 3 weeks while they received much needed medical care, lots of yummy food, tons of love and plenty of attention. Both girls are happier than ever and now have a seconds chance at life.
Unfortunately, due to their severe illness' at such a young age, they now both have to undergo additional medical procedures to repair the damage to their teeth. Their high fevers damaged their gums and caused the enamel on their teeth to not form. You can basically chip their teeth with your nails.  We want to help these little girls have an amazing life. They have gone thru so much at such a young age and deserve to live the life puppies are supposed to live. Run around, play, eat, nap…..
The procedures are estimated at about $1000-$1200 each and we are in desperate need of donations so that we can take care of this issue before it gets worse. Please help with whatever you can. There is no amount too small and all donations made are tax deductable. We know its the holidays but it will be Jasmine and Lucie's first Christmas and they deserve to be able to eat whatever they want, pain free.
