Reese Vescelius has thrown his hat in the ring! He wants to compete in road races in 2012 and beyond!  He contacted his good buddy Dennis with Athletes in Tandem and they have sponsored him with a very nice ride (adult size jogger).  Bernstein Motorsports will provide the power (Jason).

His first two races will be on Memorial Day weekend.  It will be the Miles for Missions 2 Miler & Fallen Heroes 5k Run. For the 5k both Reese & his PUSH-MAN will be dressed in full Air Force camoflauge & boots to honor fallen hero Captain Jeffrey Haney who gave his life while flying an F-22.

This is only a temporary gig until Reese is able to run on his own, and then he will be ditching the vehicle, and using his own two legs!  He will only need a cure.  You can help him get closer to a cure by sponsoring his races which support the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics (FAST).  93% of each donation through Firstgiving goes to FAST with 7% covering the administrative fees, or you can opt to donate a little extra to cover the fees.
