After riding the Houston to Austin MS150 ride for years and racing triathlon for the last 3 years I am taking on my biggest challenge yet. On November 6, 2010 in Panama City Beach, Florida I will be participating in the 140.6 mile Ironman Triathlon (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run).
As extra motivation I have joined Team COCI (www.Reason2Race.org) who as a team is trying to raise a total of $100,000 for Cherish Our Children International during this triathlon season. Cherish Our Children International is a charity founded here in Houston that develops and sponsors programs that benefit thousands of vulnerable and disadvantaged children here in Houston and around the world.
