Jason Cannon's Fundraising Page
Everyone needs a third place. There's home, there's work, and there's that third place where you can express yourself, and your soul finds inspiration, freedom and love. Since 2001, my third place has been the New York City Gay Men's Chorus. In these 8 years I've sung in 10 cities, 5 boroughs, 2 countries, in venues ranging from street corners to Carnegie Hall. I've been applauded and picketed. I've marched down 5th Avenue and high kicked with Rockettes.
Like most nonprofits, the NYCGMC has been hit hard by the economy. It is increasingly more difficult for small non-profit arts organizations to survive in New York City. NYCGMC is making strategic long and short term changes that will keep us afloat financially without sacrificing the quality of performance. We need your help, though. Your gift of $25, $50, or more would help us greatly. To show my appreciation, I will personally match each donation dollar for dollar (up to $500)
Every gift counts. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts.
Thank you for your help,
Jason
