I am participating in the 2012 NYC 5 Boro Bike Tour to raise money for Gilda's Club NYC in honor of my mother Elinor and sister Jodi, who both lost their battles with ovarian cancer.   

Gilda Ratner also lost her battle with ovarian cancer and after her death in 1989, her husband Gene Wilder and cancer psychotherapist started the Gilda’s Club to help provide a strong support network for cancer patients and their families.
