Addendum: The race is over, but this page is active for 3 more months. After an incredibly memorable 26.2 miles, I finished in 3:05. A big thanks to everyone for your support.

And a HUGE thanks to the Jean Perkins Foundation, which is responsible for the $5,000 donation received offline. Chief Faherty writes: "The Friday before the marathon we gave a 3 year old boy with brain cancer and his family $5,000.00, and it was because of you and others like you that we were able to do that"

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page and sponsoring my run for Cops for Kids with Cancer! This is an all-volunteer non-profit that I'm proud to run my first marathon to support.

You can read more about CFKWC here, as it was featured in the Boston Globe last year:

Donating through this website is simple and totally secure.

Thank you for your support-- your donation means so much to Cops for Kids With Cancer, and I appreciate your generosity. Please forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too
