Friends and Family:
On 2 November 2008, I will be running the ING New York City marathon. The opportunity to run in the NYC marathon is exciting, in and of itself. However, I have agreed to raise support for children in Africa as I train for the marathon, which makes running the marathon extra exciting. Team World Vision, which is the 'athletic department' of World Vision, is providing me the opportunity to run in the marathon and raise support for children in Africa. Let me briefly introduce you to World Vision:
