Jay Myers's Fundraising Page
Hi Everyone - Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page.
Words like “epic, challenge, or ultra” associated with an event typically grab my attention because the effort to complete it seems almost impossible. The ”Three-Notch Century” falls into this category and I’m looking forward to riding my bike for 100 miles in the beautiful White Mountains of NH and through the Franconia, Crawford, and Kancamagus Notches.
Aside from the personal journey, I’m most excited to share the experience with some amazing adaptive athletes who make “epic, challenge, or ultra” seem almost pedestrian. For instance, some have lower extremity paralysis or leg amputation and accomplish their trek using a 3-wheeled hand cycle or adaptive bicycle. It is truely inspiration to ride with them.
Northeast Passage delivers disability-related health promotion and adapted sports programs throughout New England. Northeast Passage is a program of the University of New Hampshire’s College of Health and Human Services is an affiliate of Disabled Sports USA.
All proceeds from the Three Notch Century directly benefit the participants of Northeast Passage's adapted sports programs.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
Best wishes, Jay
