Thousands of families will go without heat this winter. Walk for Warmth dollars can keep them warm!
Heat for your home in the winter is one of life’s basic necessities that is often over looked. This winter, thousands of Out-Wayne County families will struggle to keep warm under blankets and coats as they can’t afford heat for their homes.
Wayne Metro’s Walk for Warmth raises awareness and dollars to help the thousands of people in our area who will face heat related emergencies this year.
We need YOUR help to reach our goal of raising $50,000 to meet the heat and energy related needs in our community.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
For more information on the 16th Annual Walk for Warmth please check out: http://www.waynemetro.org/events.html
PLEASE NOTE: You are not required to walk on Saturday, March 3rd, 2012; you can support the Hoover Action Institute team by making an online donation.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
