Hello All,

As many of you know, my sister Jennifer was diagnosed with Lupus a few years ago. This is our third year walking for such a wonderful cause.  As I have said in the past, I had no idea what Lupus was, as many people do not.  That is why we walk and raise money for this foundation. To make people aware of the many autoimmune diseases that are out there.  My sister who I pray to be in remission every day, struggles with flare ups and pain, changing of medications, but yet still wakes up every morning with a smile on her face ready to face her day.  Jennifer has to live with this disease everyday and us as a family feel her pain.  We are a strong willed family and will fight to overcome anything that comes our way. This cause is dear to my heart and is something that I feel strongly about to continue the fight.  Educating people about what Lupus is, and how to cope with it, is now part of my life. It is important so people like my sister have a fighting chance to overcome this disease.

Last year we were the top fundraising team thanks to all you.  Hopefully we will make it another amazing year.
