As a former classroom teacher, I know the importance of kids having the basic school supplies in order to be successful at school.

For every dollar donated, Kids In Need can secure $32.00 worth of school supplies!  In 2009 alone, Kids In Need:

-Distributed more than $300 million in school supplies to low-income
schools free of charge

-Served 1.6 million students and 100,000 teachers

-Awarded $1 million in grants to teachers

-Supported 25 Teacher Resource Centers throughout the country where teachers can shop for free school supplies!

EVERY child should begin school with the supplies they need. EVERY child deserves a chance to achieve their dreams.  Won't you help by giving them the tools they need to make it happen?
