Well it's already closer to the next polar bear plunge than the last one!  I'm always glad when it's over and I don't have to go back in that water again for another 12 months.

But, in all seriousness, I'd go in every day if we could make a difference like we do every January 1st.  Last year we raised over $16,000!  That made the difference for over 45 retired greyhounds.

And, it's not all pain and agony (the water is usually much warmer than the air, but not warm), after we have all gotten out of the water, we head down the street to the Old Town Ale house for a warm up party.  Jump in with us, and I buy the first round.

So, if you are brave and foolish, like me, join our merry band, start your own FirstGiving page and jump in the water to save some dogs.  If not, then please make a pledge to help us continue saving the hounds.
