Jeff's SUPER Plunge VI
After last year's SUPER Plunge and the conditions we faced (see video and picture below) I ask myself why I am doing it again, I do it for the athletes!
Thank you for visiting my "SUPER Plunge" fundraising page. I will again (for the 6th year in a row) be joining Some Unbelievable Plungers Who Enter Repeatedly once an hour every hour for 24 hours into Lake Michigan on Feb. 25 & 26, 2011. Yes, I am again plunging 24 times in 24 hours!
I hope all of you will help me reach my goal for this event - to raise at least $5,000 for the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois (SO ILL)!
This will be the 6th year of the SUPER Plunge in Illinois and I have plunged every year since we began. I have actually plunged nearly 114 times in the ice cold waters of Illinois and around the world for the athletes during my 14 years with Special Olympics Illinois.
Since its inception, the SUPER Plunge has raised more than $300,000. You have helped me raise more than $15,000 toward that total! THANK YOU ALL.
I hope you all will again join me in making a difference in the lives of the athletes of SO ILL so they can continue ot train and compete year-round free of charge.
