Your support is critical for the continued success of ARCS’ programs for Hudson Valley residents affected by HIV/AIDS. Funds raised at the Hudson Valley AIDS Walk fill in budgetary gaps created by decreased government grants, rising expenses and increased need for our stabilizing services. As more people with HIV live longer, they rely on ARCS’ case managers and educators more to maintain their health, homes and families. Some grants will cover services for the HIV-positive individual but not their children despite a high level of need. Transportation funds often run low, and we have had difficulties keeping our emergency food closets stocked. Most importantly, HIV prevention funds have dried up considerably at the government level, and our educational efforts are forced to operate on shoestring budgets.
Your contribution allows us to bolster these programs and keep our clients on the path to sustained health and well-being. We remain dedicated to helping our clients make healthy choices for themselves and living full, productive lives.
Contributions to ARCS are tax-deductible pursuant to section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
