Help give Jeremiah a home!

We are no doubt living in uncertain times. However, one thing that does remain certain is that every child needs a stable, loving family and home in order to thrive. Join us as we help to make that certainty possible for one specific family and one specific child.

Jeremiah was placed in foster care the day he was born (in spring of 2009). His mother was already struggling to make ends meet with two older children and she wanted a better life for her son, in a safer and more stable environment. After a month of pondering the difficult decision of where to place Jeremiah, she chose David and Stacy to be his adoptive parents.

David is the youth director at his church in Burlington, WI and Stacy works as a bank teller. After five years of trying to conceive they chose adoption over fertility treatments in large part because Stacy, herself, was adopted as a child. Their adoption of Jeremiah moved faster than anticipated, and while they were able to raise most of the $17,000 that they needed, they still found themselves a bit short. A grant from the Gift of Adoption will allow the couple to cover their final costs, complete their adoption and give Jeremiah the love and stability that we all want for our own children.

In turn, we are partnering with the Gift of Adoption to make this grant possible. We are trying to raise the $3,500 that it will take to finalize this adoption and make certain that Jeremiah ends up in a loving home instead of remaining in the foster care system. We invite you to join us in this loving and rewarding endeavor. Donations can be made directly through this website or by calling the Gift of Adoption office at (877) 905-2367. All donations are tax-deductible and go directly to funding this grant.

Thank you for considering to join David and Stacy in their journey to give Jeremiah a home.  So many times in life something big can be accomplished through the small contributions of many.  This is undoubtedly something very big for David, Stacy and Jeremiah, and by doing a small part in making this happen we can all feel tremendous pride in helping to bring this bit of goodness into our world.
