Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. Most of you know that Volunteering for Special Olympics has been a passion of mine for a number of years. By sponsoring me, you will make dreams happen for a bunch of people who work their butts off everyday-to do the things you and I take for granted. Not only does Special Olympics give them a safe environment to compete, it gives them a forum to meet friends, and have a great time. It's expensive to have children, even more so for a Person with special needs. These parents devote a HUGE amount of time and money to put smiles on the athletes faces-and you can help them.
Special Olympics functions solely on donations. We have some partner companies that help us sponsor events, but for the most part we count on people like you who care enough to donate. ANYTHING HELPS! Don't be afraid to be my biggest donor.
This year, I am stepping it up a notch. For 2010 I have volunteered to be a "Super Plunger"-which means I will jump once an hour, for the 12 hours leading up to the main event. Yup, that means I hit the water 13 times in 12 hours. But I can only put myself through this joyous occasion if I raise $2,500. Last year was a great fundraising year and I hope to top those numbers this year.
