I suppose every now and then you have to do something in life that is a bit scary. Running 26.2 miles counts as far as I'm concerned. But, if you can manage to find yourself with something to run for, it's not nearly as tough. I am excited about what this group is doing for the World Vision effort but I have another motivation to run.

My mom, Nancy Miller, is currently struggling with Rheumatoid Lung. A very rare condition that has plagued her for quite a while now. To support her effort to get ready for a lung transplant, I'm running...A LOT! So, while any donations will go to helping World Vision and their efforts in Africa, it will help support me and by extension, support my mom as see battles to get healthy.

World Vision works to tackle the root causes of poverty by working with children, families, and their communities to provide things like clean water, health care, nutritious food, education, and economic opportunities.

You can support my efforts through Team World Vision by making a one-time tax-deductible donation.
