The child you see here is my son Alex.  He is a wonderful kid but just like so many children these days he is living with autism.  Today there is a record number of families affected by this disorder and yet it is so little understood.  While there is dedicated effort being put forth by some there is still a long way to go before we will have effective treatment and prevention protocols.

The bottom line is that the need is great.  However the good news is that you can help do something about it.

The Organization for Autism Research (OAR) is dedicated to helping kids with autism as well as their parents.  Run for Autism is the premier fundraising program for OAR and I am proud to take part in it this year.
