Did you know that Lancaster County, PA, has the highest concentration of puppy mills of any county in the nation and has earned the dubious nickname of “Puppy Mill Capital of the East.”

Sammy, Bryan, Brayden and I are walking in the 22nd Annual Tailwagger's Trot on October 9th 2011 in Lancaster, PA.  All proceeds will benefit the Humane League of Lancaster County who help all animals and the fight against puppy mills.

The Humane League of Lancaster is a private, not-for-profit organization.  They do not receive any federal funding or assistance from national animal welfare organizations and we rely solely on donations to care for approximately 11,000 animals each year.
