We are in the process of planning the 5th Annual Anneke Kramer Softball Tournament and Silent Auction scheduled for June 25, 2011!  Can you believe it?  For those of you who have been around for this entire journey....thank you!  For those of you are are just jumping on board...thank you!

As several of you know, my niece Anneke was diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome in August of 2006, a few weeks after her birth. Prader-Willi syndrome is a rare genetic disorder of the 15th chromosome that typically causes low muscle tone, short stature, cognitive disabilities, problem behaviors, and a chronic feeling of hunger that can lead to excessive eating and life-threatening obesity.  There is currently no cure for PWS. 

Anneke has definitely changed our lives.  She is truly a gift from God, and we will never stop trying to find a cure for Prader-Willi syndrome.  We owe this to her and to others who are battling with PWS.

We know that there are many other organizations worthy of your donation, but we sincerely ask for you to consider donating to PWSA(USA) in honor of Anneke.  We can't fight this fight alone, and your donation will allow for more families to care for their child with PWS, and give them the opportunity to be educated about PWS.

Many of you who know Anneke would agree that Anneke can put a smile on your face no matter the circumstances.  She lives her life to the fullest and does not let PWS get in her way.  She absolutely loves school and has this amazing passion for learning.  She also loves her "babies" and her grandpa!
