As you may have heard, I decided around my birthday that I wanted to race in a triathlon. I found a training schedule and picked a race to prepare myself for. So on September 12th, I raced through a 325 meter swim, a 30k bike ride and ran a 5k and once I finished, Monty went to Wagfest to compete in agility, lure coursing, flyball and obedience!
So much like I challenged myself to complete the training and ultimately complete the triathlon, I challenge you to support me and my favorite charity! We all know that I wouldn’t do something like this just for myself – I raced in this triathlon to raise funds for the Elmbrook Humane Society.
100% of all proceeds you donate to support my efforts in the race will help support EBHS in their efforts to educate the public about the humane care and treatment of animals, promote spay/neuter, and encourage adoption of homeless animals. I don't consider any donation to be too small, so please give if you can!
Thank you to all those who have supported me during my training and the day of the race!!! Please help me meet my goal in supporting my favorite WI charity! I plan to continue my training and hopefully compete in another triathlon in the Spring. :-D
