Well, I am off again on another Adventure!  Although this one has a special added twist. 

When Julie Doyle of Adventure Out! asked me if I was interested in climbing up to the highest point in New York (Mt. Marcy) I was all over it.  And when she mentioned that she had found a charity event that involved climbing to the highest point in your state while benefitting kids with AIDS in Africa that made it even better.  It didn't take much to persuade me and a few others to get our climbing shoes on and start raising money for Climb Up so Kids Can Grow Up.

Getting to climb while also raising awareness for a good cause is easy for me.  Asking people for money, well that's another story.  But if you aren't ready to climb with us and want to be part of this great event, please know that your donation is going to a good cause and that you have added to making this world a better place - one step at a time, one child at a time!
