Dear family and friends-
Thank you for checking out our page !
We live in Pompano Beach with our Mom, Jenny, and our Auntie Molly. We don't know why our original owners gave us up, but we're two of the lucky ones, 'cause Mommy chose to adopt rather than shop. It's also sad for loving families today who have to move or can no longer afford to care for us.
Aren't we adorable??? Mommy keeps telling us she is so lucky too.
Mommy volunteers for the Humane Society and is supporting the Walk again scheduled for March 6, 2010. Our hero, Masai, asked us to carry on his crusade from the last Walk. Thanks to Mommy's very generous family and friends, they were able to raise over $750. It helped so many of our friends at the shelter find loving homes. In addition to adoptions, it also helped the Shelter continue their wonderful spay/neuter and vaccination programs so that we don't have more homeless animals suffering on the streets. They also investigate animal abuse and train us to visit schools, hospitals and nursing homes so that we can help educate our children and bring smiles to some lonely hearts.
Its a wonderful organization, but they still need our help. Mommy has set up this webpage for those of you who would like to make a donation. She wants you to know that she much prefers donations instead of birthday or Christmas presents too - she has everything she wants - except more furry friends !
We would also like to remember our wonderful cousin, Kaya Papaya Hutton from Bellingham, Washington, who sadly said goodbye to her loving Daddy and family on Saturday, September 26th. We know she and Masai are having a good romp together now!
Please visit the Shelter's webpage at www.humanebroward.com or visit us at 2070 Griffin Rd. in Ft. Lauderdale. You can learn all about the Shelter's wonderful programs, check out our residents and maybe even be tempted to give one of our friends a loving home !
Thank you always for your generous support, and wish us luck in reaching our goal!
