It's that time of year again when we participate in the Potter League Walk for animals. I know you all remember our dog Holly, but we would like to introduce the new girl in our family - Amy!! Amy is a "special" cat; she was born with deformed back legs that do not extend properly. She hops like a bunny instead of runs but nothing keeps her down....We found Amy last year at the Potter League for Animals in Newport, R.I. (much to Daddy's dismay) where our favorite Aunt Debbie lives. We visited the shelter and we just fell in love with her - especially Mom. The Potter League took wonderful care of her and her brother, Tiny Tim. She was fostered in a convent by a loving sister. The Potter League does not care if an animal is young or old or has problems like Amy - they work to get them into great homes. And Amy ended up with us - we are all so lucky....Even Holly and Daddy love her!!So, we are doing our third walk for the animals to thank the Potter League for the GREAT job they did with Amy and all the animals who are lucky enough to end up in their care.
