Jennifer Gruber's Fundraising Page
Thank you for visiting my "SUPER Plunge" fundraising page. I will join Some Unbelievable Plungers who Enter Repeatedly once an hour, every hour, for 24 hours straight in Lake Michigan on Feb. 25 & 26, 2011. Yes, I'm plunging 24 times in 24 hours during the 6th Annual SUPER Plunge to benefit Special Olympics Illinois!
As a member of the League of SUPER Plungers, I’m collecting donations from My Alter Ego, Sidekick, Arch Nemesis and all Villains (also known as family, friends, co-workers) and anyone else who wants to support Special Olympics Illinois athletes. Your donation will help provide the nearly 21,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and more than 4,000 Young Athletes ages 2-7 the chance to participate in year-round sports training and competition.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to the Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Illinois.
Many of you already know about my dedication to this great cause!!! I am a member of the Joliet Police Torch Run Committee and participate in as many events as possible. In the last year I have been a part of 2010 Super Polar Plunge, climbed up on the roof of Dunkin Donuts for Cops on Top, directed traffic for JPD's Ride With The Law motorcycle run, waitied tables at Dennys Officers and Omelletes , provided a police escort and served food to truckers at The Worlds Largest Truck Convoy and ran alongside other cops as we brought the torch in with 1000's of athletes and families at the opening of Summer Games, and that's just to name a few. Please continue to support me in my never ending quest in raising money to help my god daughter and other athletes continue to participate in these great events.
