On Saturday, October, 30, 2010, I will be walking together with 500 other animal lovers in the 10th Annual Stride for Strays benefiting Animal Coalition of Tampa (ACT).  ACT is a local non-profit organization whose mission is to end pet overpopulation in Tampa Bay.  They primarily do this through spay/neuter efforts to keep unwanted animals from entering our local shelters.  Last year, over 22,000 animals were put down in Hillsborough County alone because there were not enough homes for them.  This isn't okay with ACT, and it isn't okay with me, so I'm doing what I can do to help.

Money raised at Stride for Strays helps ACT keep spay/neuter affordable and accessible to help people to the right thing.  This is where I'm asking for your help!  I have set a personal goal to raise $500 for ACT.  Please help me to reach my goal by sponsoring me for the walk.  Every little bit helps!!
