Our daughter Lucy  is 2 years old. 

We did not know that Lucy had Down Syndrome until she was born.  We had no idea how much our life was going to change for the better.  The Michiana Down Syndrome Group reached out to us from the very beginning and made us feel a part of a very special family.  The new parent bag that they mailed to us with information, books, and a homemade blanket made us feel like the group genuinely cared about us.  The group hosts so many different events to help support all of us families.  The library is stocked with wonderful resources, the Mom's Night Out lets us know we are never in this alone, and the Down Syndrome Walk is so much fun.  These are just a few things the Group does.  Check out their website to learn more.
