Jennifer Hughes's Fundraising Page

Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. Wow! Because of the remarkable response from all of you I have doubled my target goal. Thank you so much for all your support! I am truely speechless!

I am walking to support the hundreds of thousands of people affected by scleroderma, a deadly autoimmune connective tissue disease that affects mostly women in the prime of their lives. I am also walking in loving memory of Marina Duque and for my mom who continues to be a miracle that blesses my life every day!

Research for scleroderma is primarily funded by private charity events like this, which makes fund raising even more important. Please join me in my efforts to find a cure for scleroderma by walking, running or making a contribution. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.  Many thanks for your support -- and please forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!

More information about scleroderma can be found at

Our next fundraiser is the Hazelhofer Slceroderma Golf Tournament at Sunol Golf Course on June 25, 2010, sponsored by the Livermore Lions Club. Please see the Bay Area Support Group's website for more information and volunteer opportunities.

Hope to see you Sunday!
