This fundraiser went REALLY well!!! I was very happy with the result.  Thanks to all the people who came to support these animals and to the businesses who donated to our raffle.  Hope everyone had fun!!

This fundraiser is dedicated to Martha.  She was my Labrador during my childhood years.  Her kindness and charisma gave me my love of animals.  She died on May 31st, 2006 from Leukemia.  The house felt empty so we rescued two more dogs.  Out of all the dogs I saw, I could only take home two which got me thinking - what happens to these other dogs?  What about the animals who are being abused or neglected - or those stranded from a natural disaster. Many choose to remain ignorant or choose to forget what happens. I decided to take action (in the only way I know how).  I gathered my friends and we are raising money to support animals in emergency situations.
