Jen runs Chicago for Girls on the Run

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

Girls on the Run is an outstanding program for young girls. Girls who participate in this program are taught self-respect and healthy living, at a time when they need it most! It is a great introduction to running for many of them, as they complete a 5K at the end of the program. Along with the training, they learn how to have a stronger sense of identity and a positive self-image. Please visit their website at www.gotratlanta.org for more information.

I just recently attended Coach's training for Girls on the Run. I will start coaching on February 3. I am so excited about the opportunity to work with these girls!

UPDATE: My first coaching session was on Feb. 3. So far we have 5 girls, but we are hoping that more will join for the second week. These girls are all such a joy to be around, all very unique, and amazing. I think that we will both learn a lot this season!

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. You ma want to donate a lump sum, or you might want to make a donation per mile (this event is 13.1 miles).

Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
