Thank you for visiting our site. Ken and I joinded forces with disabled sports 3 1/2 years ago and are now on course to raise funds for a new kind of event. This is our first cycling event ever and we'll be braving the hills of the Eastern Sierras.
Of course while this is a fun, new adventure, it's also for a cause we believe in. While we typically volunteer when the Wounded Warriors come to Mammoth, there are also a variety of people and groups that Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra Supports. Please check out the links that I've added. We hope that this is a cause you can feel good about backing. Even if you donate $5, this helps! This is a programs that changes lives......

This is a ride like no other! Outdoor challenges change lives, and Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra is doing just that through their year-round program of winter and summer sports for athletes with physical and cognitive disabilities. The freedom and exhilaration that is felt after skiing the top of a mountain, cycling over a rugged pass or catching a Sierra trout is unrivaled!
We need your help! The funds that we raise for The Sierra Cycle Challenge go directly toward supporting students with individualized instruction and adaptive equipment, so they can enjoy the same sports that you do. Your donations will allow an autistic student to take her first runs at Mammoth Mountain or a Wounded Warrior to remember that life is still worth living.
Our Goal: Raise $2,000 Please help me reach my goal with a tax-deductible donation to Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra. I’ll be climbing my way through the Eastern Sierra for three days and thinking gratefully of all my supporters along the way!
Day One: Mammoth Lakes to Benton Hot Springs: 48 miles, 1,500 ft. elevation gain!
Day Two: Benton Hot Springs to Grant Lake: 48.5 miles, 3,600 ft. elevation gain!
Day Three: Grant Lake to Mammoth Lakes: 35.6 miles, 2,900 ft. elevation gain!
