Hey Everyone,
Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. I am proud to say that I ran the New York City Half Marathon on March 18, 2012. I am honored that I was able to take part of such an amazing experience and run on behalf of OAR. I'm almost to my fundraising goal!!!
As many of you already know, running plays a major role in my life. Running has not only been recreational for me, but it has helped me overcome numerous obstacles in my life. For the NYC Half Marathon I wanted to use my sport as a means to help others. I chose to participate with Organization for Autism Research because I have known many wonderful children who are unfortunately suffering from this disability. These children all deserve to have the same opportunities in life as others. Unfortunately these children and their families will be burdened by challenges for life. According to the Autism Society, the cost to raise a child with Autism ranges between $3.5 million and $5 million. By showing your support you can help in creating awareness as well as aiding the cost of research.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
