On September 20th, our rescued dog, Duffy, along with hundreds of other Basset Hounds, will walk in the 12th Annual 2009 Illinois Waddle!
This event is held every year in Dwight, Illinois to raise funds for Guardian Angel Basset Rescue, Inc. (GABR).

Each year, GABR rescues over 300 Basset Hounds from terrible situations in the Midwest area. GABR provides the necessary vet care and loving foster homes to help the dogs be adopted by wonderful forever homes. GABR's vet bills alone average over $12,000 per month. We've decided to help them raise money to pay these bills.
GABR also helps various other breed rescues, cat rescues, humane societies, and many groups outside the animal organizations!
