On September 21st, our rescued dog, Duffy, along with hundreds of other Basset Hounds, will be walking in the 2008 Illinois Waddle!  This event is held every year in Dwight, Illinois to raise funds for the Guardian Angel Basset Rescue, Inc (GABR). 

GABR saved Duffy's life! Each year, GABR rescues over 300 Basset Hounds from terrible situations in the Illinois and Indiana area.  GABR provides the necessary vet care and loving foster homes to help the dogs be adopted by wonderful forever homes.  GABR's vet bills alone average over $12,000 per month.  We've decided to help them raise money to pay those bills.  GABR also helps various other breed rescues, cat rescues, humane societies, and many groups outside the animal organizations!
