Thank you for visiting my page. I am participating in SFWAR's Walk Against Rape on April 25th, 2009. It is a 3.1 mile walk through San Francisco beginning at Justin Herman Plaza at 10am and ending in Dolores Park at noon.
SFWAR is a women of color led, volunteer-based organization that has provided rape crisis services to survivors of sexual assault for over 30 years. As the primary provider of rape crisis services in San Francisco, they also offer support to friends and families of survivors and provide expert advice, training, and assistance to healthcare workers, medical professionals, educators, law enforcement officers and other professionals throughout the city. Their prevention programs have reached young people in classrooms in schools serving every area of San Francisco, and provided information and resources to people of all ages through community programs, social services, and numerous community events. All their services are confidential and free of charge.
Please support by donating through this website which is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. If it is more preferable to make a check donation, please make checks payable to SFWAR. Cash is also accepted!!!
Please forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
