Dear Friends - As you probably know, I work for Special Olympics.  There's no job like it, and there's nobody like our athletes.  You can call them brave, inspiring, fun, amazing or any other adjective like that - it all applies.  A few seconds of insanity and cold is a small price to pay for them to have a better life. 

I don't like asking for money.  But I'm not asking for me - please support more than 2,000 people in KC and more than 15,000 in Missouri who truly need this program and the opportunity to be a part of the Special Olympics family.  There is no small donation - every dollar stays in KC and makes an impact. 

Yes, I'll have pictures of my plunge.  And yes, it will probably not be flattering in the slightest...so you can have that satisfaction as well.  Whatever the reason, thanks for giving and thank you for being a fan.
