This will be my forth year plunging, and I would love to beat the $165 I raised last year. Also, feel free to come out and cheer us on the day of the event at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront between 6th and 9th Streets. There will be activities all morning, but the plunge itself will be at 2:30pm.

New this year is also a 5K run Sat morning for those not up for the plunge. You can also come out for the pre-plunge party on the beach Friday night.

Special Olympics changes lives by benefiting more than 9,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities across our Commonwealth and impacts communities in many powerful ways. Special Olympics Virginia uses sports as a catalyst to change society’s perceptions and treatment of people with intellectual disabilities. This is an incredible cause, and I hope that you will come down and watch me take part in this great event.
