Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
This year will be my 4th plunge, and it is something I plan to do for years to come. It is a fun event for a great cause.
This year my team and I will be plunging in honor of a co-worker's brother, Gary Runge. Gary was a participant in the Special Olympics for many years. He "retired" from competition 3 years ago, after an infection resulted in the amputation of his left leg. He currently resides at Harmony House Nursing Home in Waterloo. He spends a lot of time in the green house and loves watching Iowa football games whenever they are broadcast on television. Gary will celebrate his 53rd Birthday on November 18th.
I know that times are tough all over, but I appreciate any support that you can give me. ( Last year one of my team members won the prize for the most money raised online, this year I want to beat him!!)
A special thanks to my family for their continued support. They have donated and come out every year to cheer me on. (Take a look at the picture I posted, I had just finished my plunge and they look colder than I do!)
