UMPS CARE Charities is a non-profit organization founded by Major League Baseball (MLB) Umpires to provide big league baseball experiences for children awaiting adoption, memorable Build-A-Bear Workshop experiences for pediatric patients coping with cancer, and critical financial support for families in need. In 2009, UMPS CARE Charities will make a difference for over 2,000 children.
I am playing in the first-ever UMPS CARE Charities 100 Hole Golf Marathon on November 5th at Augusta Ranch Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona to raise awareness and much needed funding for our programs. My personal goal is to raise $2,500 over the next several weeks and I’m writing to ask for your support. Your donations will help to provide:
- memorable Build-A-Bear Workshop experiences for pediatric patients coping with cancer,
- big league baseball experiences for children awaiting adoption or in youth mentoring programs, and
- financial support for families in need.
