Jerry Richert's Fundraising Page
Welcome to the Tri4Paul donation page. My name is Jerry Richert and I am a firefighter and public safety diver for the Indianapolis Fire Department in Indianapolis Indiana.
In 2007, I completed the Great Floridian iron distance triathlon, my first full triathlon in honor of my friend Paul Jolliff. Paul lost his life in a dive training accident with his fire department. Since then I have competed in two more Ironman events in memory of my friend and as a fundraiser.
In 2012 will be competing in the Ford Ironman in Louisville, Kentucky to raise funds for the International Association of Dive Rescue Specialists (IADRS).
This will be the first time the funds will be used to send a Public Safety Diver to the IADRS conference at no charge. There are many PSD's around the country who because of budget restraints may not be able to attend the conference. Please help me provide a chance for one or more PSD's to attend and take away this life saving information to their departments.
The IADRS conferences provide Public Safety Divers from around the country a forum to learn about new standards and procedures, and a place to network with others in their profession. This vital link has no doubt contributed to saving lives by providing quality speakers and safe diving practices.
The IADRS is a not for profit organization and would appreciate any donation to help further their cause.

Thank you for all who have supported us to date!
