Dear Friends,
My journey continues… I am alive at 56 – living, breathing, and succeeding with cystic fibrosis – because of the power and importance of exercise. On April 18, 2012, I had a double lung transplant at New York Presbyterian/CUMC by a phenomenal team of doctors. In honor of my donor and to celebrate my new life, I will be participating in Boomer’s Cystic Fibrosis Run to Breathe just three months after surgery. By adopting the mantra “You Cannot Fail” I have already begun exercising and building my life, post-transplant. While I have had to make many adjustments to my everyday life, I am blessed to be alive, indescribably grateful to my donor and his family, and am excited to be doing something I love again – running.
I run to breathe. I run to live.
By donating through this website, you can help my reach my fundraising goal of $10,418. With your support, I cannot fail and I know we will find a cure to CF sooner rather than later. I would like to sincerely thank you for your support and ask that you forward this to anyone you think would be interested in making a donation as well.
All we can do in life is to pass it on... Spread the word. Pass it on.
And remember You Cannot Fail...
