Hi everyone,

This year, Metropolitan Boston Housing Partnership will running be without an Edsell-Vetter for the first time in several years. However, I am coaching our team and working with the runners on their fundraising strategies!

As you know, your donations to MBHP have helped provide rental assistance and intensive case management to hundreds of families in the 30 cities and towns that MBHP serves.  During the recent economic crisis, you did not hesitate to give to support those in need and I hope this year, you will consider giving again.

In the past year, MBHP has worked with families living in motels throughout the Boston area to help them find and retain safe, affordable housing. Through this effort we have not only housed 300 families but we have also been able to collect data critical to changing how the overflow shelter system in Massachusetts functions.  Your donations have helped to make this a reality.

This year, as we continue to face a state budget crisis with potentially devastating cuts to housing programs, I ask you to again support MBHP's programs. By giving, you ensure that those living in poverty have a place to call home.
