Hello everyone,

I'm so excited for the race this year.  It will be my 4th year running over the Cooper River Bridge with some of my closest friends!  This year, I am happy to do it for a cause that has taken a big cut in funding due to the poor economy.  The Charleston Miracle League is one of the most worthy organizations I have ever been a part of because it allows all kids with disabilities to participate in a real baseball team.  I served as a buddy during a few games last season where I helped children get to the home plate, hold the bat, hit the ball, and run to all the bases while the crowd cheered them on.  One of the best parts of the day is that, because buddies assist with the children, all parents are able to sit in the stands and watch their children shine!  I am hoping to raise 500.00 for The Miracle League this year so that this organization can continue to touch the lives of many families.  Every little bit helps!  Thanks for your support!!!
