A Family of Fosters
This year we are dedicating our fundraising page to all the fosters who have come through our families home. Our first foster was Opie, who we did end up adopting, but since then dogs of all shapes and sizes (and recently cats) have come into our life. Some have had broken bones, parvo, kennel cough and others just needed a little extra time to grow. During this time HAWS provides medical treatment, food, and any thing else that is needed to care for the animal.
Levi (pictured) came to us after the family could not afford to fix his broken leg. He had multiple surgeries to fix the break and it is because of HAWS that he was able to keep his leg.
The kittens pictured were our first foster cats that came to HAWS at the age of 5 weeks and needed a place to stay for 3 weeks until they could be adopted out. They loved snuggling with their dad Levi who cleaned them and snuggled with them. Since then they have been adopted out to the wonderful Jannsen family who has even let us petsit for them while they were out of town.
Other fosters who have touched our lives are Nessie, Jackson, Zippy, Rosy, Parker, Barney, Lady, Penny, Maude, Gretta, Wiggles, Macy, Snickers, & Grace.
I realize that many are falling on hard times with the economy so we understand if you can not donate but please so forward to friends and family who may be able and pray for good weather!
Thank You!
